Baublebar Dupes On Shein

I was on the lookout for earrings to wear on my birthday when I came across the Esperance Drop Earrings on Baublebar. The earrings are priced at $48 with free standard shipping on orders above $25. I knew I had to immediately grab it before it went out of stock. Fast forward to 72 hours later when I was casually browsing Shein and was amazed to see the same Baublebar (BB) earrings there for $4. From its price, I knew that it has to be a cheaply made dupe. I showed it to my husband and he advised to buy it just for the sake of comparing it with the original. He convinced me that until I saw it myself, I shouldn't be judging it's quality.

When both the earrings arrived, I noticed that the Baublebar earrings have blue rhinestones while the Shein one had green stones- that's the only difference. Also, Baublebar has it's a brand name etched behind the earrings. Plus, I knew which one was Baublebar and which one was Shein coz I had ordered it (obviously). I did a blind test on my husband by wearing the Baublebar on one ear and Shein on the other. My husband was unable to figure out which earring belonged to which brand. In fact, he did not even notice the difference in the color. While Baublebar lists the materials under product details, Shein doesn't mention it. Moreover, since I am not a jewelry expert, I cannot comment on the actual material. As a layman customer, I did not notice any other difference in terms of the finish, quality, size or design. Shein's dupe is excellent if you ask me. I would give it a 10/10. I also ended up ordering two more earrings from Shein that were also Baublebar dupes. See their photos on the left. While, I did not buy the Baublebar ones, from the reviews I could tell that people have really liked them.

Note that I am not a supporter of designer dupes myself. For me, it was more like an experiment to put an end to my curiosity. However, if you are fond of designer brands but find them expensive, then you might want to give Shein a try. Though the quality of all their jewelry items may not be like the original one they can take a plain outfit to the next level without breaking your wallet. Therefore, when looking for designer dupes I like to look for shoes and bags that are inspired by or almost downright copies of the real thing. Ciao Shein Shenanigans!
